General information and provisions
- The scientific journal “Kogam jane dauir” published by KazISS under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was registered by the Minister of Culture, Information and Public Accord of the Republic of Kazakhstan December 19, 2003, registration certificate No. 4526-Ж Assigned ISSN 2414-5696 (print), 2524-8216 (online). The journal has the Editorial Board, the Editorial Policy, the Publication Ethics and a website.
- The journal is included in the Kazakhstan Citation Database and has its own impact factor (0.086, 2018, https://nauka.kz/page.php?page_id=795&lang=1&impact_year=2018).
1.3. The journal publishes scientific and analytical articles in Russian and / or English. The journal is published four times a year. Publication in the journal is free of charge.
1.4. Goals, objectives and thematic focus of the journal.
The goal of the journal is to cover and promote the results of scientific research on topical issues of history, socio-economic, political development of Kazakhstan and foreign countries; to activate and attract public interest in research activities.
Journal objectives:
- Attract scientific researchers and promote publication of original, high-quality scientific articles that have not been previously published or submitted for publication in another journal.
- Rely on the requirements of the acting laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan in relation to copyright and the generally accepted provisions on publication ethics in the world practice.
- Focus on the coverage of publications in the following areas: 07.00.00 – Historical Sciences; 08.00.00 – Economic Sciences; 22.00.00 – Sociological Sciences; 23.00.00 – Political Sciences.
- Provide the results of theoretical and applied researches on current problems of the humanities and social sciences of a political, socio-economic, international political and methodological orientation.
- Provide reviews of the latest literature.
The journal covers a wide range of research results on various aspects of socio-political, socio-economic and historical processes. Thematic areas of the journal:
- Current issues of global and regional security;
- Issues of socio-political development;
- Modern issues of economy and economic development;
- Current issues of modern sociology and social processes;
- Topical issues of history and historical processes.
1.3. Journal articles are registered in the CrossRef database and each author's article shall be assigned a DOI – a digital object identifier that is used to provide citations, links and access to electronic documents.
1.4. The journal follows the policy of information openness and accessibility of authors' publications, articles are published on the journal's website in three languages in full-text access.
