Abstract
The study of conflict begins from studying its root causes, sources, or conflict factors, for its management and constructive resolution. Causes of conflict or conflict factors is the object of research. In the article the author considers the general concept of conflict factors, their interactions and potential. The work analyzes the potential of conflict factors and discusses their relationship, on the example of Kazakhstan. Conflict factors can be divided into internal and external factors. This work considers internal factors. The theoretical aspect is studied by a literature review to determine the conceptual basis of the conflict and the ways of resolution. During the study, the factors affecting the conflict are described and analyzed by comparative, historical and systemic-structural methods.
Author analyzes the example of Kazakhstan and former Soviet countries. Moreover, potential of conflict factors in Kazakhstan and its peculiarities will be discussed.
