Abstract
In order to study the importance of education, politics, army and religion in adaptation and integration of rural youth through social elevator mechanisms, the results of a focus group discussion on the example of Turkestan, Kyzylorda, and Zhambyl regions, where rural youth are concentrated the most, are considered in the article. Emphasis is placed on the main features and problems of rural youth, analysis of risks and challenges is made, recommendations are given to state bodies implementing the state youth policy. The peculiarity of the article is that it shares the results of its own social research on the adaptation and integration of rural youth to urban life.
