Abstract
The establishment of Kazakhstan relations with near and far abroad countries in the period from 1991 to 2021 in the historical-political aspect and the links of political, socio-economic and cultural partnership after the gaining of independence by the Republic is considered in this article. The individual regions, including regional international foreign policy relations with foreign countries, are the subject of a separate research. In particular, drawing attention to the regional development of Zhambyl region, it is noted that the regional administration in coordination with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan has established partnerships with foreign countries and implemented investment projects in agro-industrial, mining, chemical industry, phosphate, gold mining, uranium and other industries. For the study of the regional development of Zhambyl region, the works of foreign and domestic authors were analyzed, as well as archival materials were introduced into scientific turnover.
