TRANSNATIONAL MIGRATION OF YOUTH BETWEEN KAZAKHSTAN AND CHINA AND ITS POLITICAL CONSEQUENCES

Abstract

Currently, migration in Central Asia and problems related to the border between Kazakhstan and China are unresolved issues between two countries. Studying the political consequences in the field of transnational migration of young people from our country to the neighboring China for the purpose of job search and study is an actual issue. In this direction, the purpose of the research is to define the main causes and consequences of transnational migration for the youth of our country. In this study, the main issues of the state policy in the field of youth migration were identified. Recommendations for state and local executive authorities regarding young migrants were given for research and decision-making aimed at solving social problems of young people.

The authors found out that the increase in transnational migration of youth in the event of Kazakhstan opening its border with China will lead to certain political consequences. In the course of the research, in addition to theoretical analysis methods, a comparative analysis was made on statistical data of youth migration in the last 6 years. As a result of the study, the main reasons and consequences of the departure of Kazakhstan's youth to China were determined. The results of the research can serve as a guide for researchers of youth migration in the study of the main directions of the country's foreign policy. In addition, research data can be used in the field of external migration, political science, sociology, and youth migration.
