Abstract
This article is based on the results of a sociological study conducted in the North Kazakhstan region in order to identify the main factors and determine their impact on the development of interethnic relations in the region. The purpose of the study is to identify factors influencing trends and prospects for the development of interethnic relations in Northern Kazakhstan (according to the data of the North Kazakhstan region) and which should be taken into account in the process of decentralization. At the moment, the greatest problem may be the ideology of technocratism, which involves simply copying the models of decentralization developed in other countries and neglecting the values and cultural and historical features that have developed in society. Based on this, with the strengthening of the decentralization process, the factors of ethnic inclusivity become of paramount importance.
