THE ROLE OF SYMBOLISM IN MODERN POLITICAL PROCESSES OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

Abstract

Abstract. Political symbolism is a complex structural formation consisting of various sign systems involved in the political process. Symbols play a significant role in the political life of society, performing a number of socially significant functions. This article defines the symbolic component of the political process of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as an integral part of which the symbols of political parties and emblems of regions and cities of republican significance of Kazakhstan are considered. In addition, the analysis of several cases related to the use of political symbols in influencing the consciousness of society is carried out, and the results of the study are reflected in the conclusion.
